“Imagineering” Published in Artistonish Magazine
Imagineering
Hockett's abstract “Imagineering” was selected for publication in the Ontario-based contemporary art magazine Artistonish.
In her artist statement, Hockett said,
While my primary focus lies with portrait photography, I create abstract art purely for fun. Inspiration for these works originates from my children and their toys, trinkets, crafts, and pictures. My images tend to be colorful and energetic with a sense of volume -- reflecting the business and characteristics of little people.
The magazine “focuses on telling the compelling story of significant arts created by brilliant artists from all around the world. Our publications are available to tens of thousands of art lovers, experts, collectors and enthusiasts in both digital and print format and reaches people in over 100 countries.”
